"IPA Seminar: Achievements and Opportunities” organized by the Ministry for EU Affairs for presenting the achievements in IPA I period and discuss IPA II period opportunities took place at Sheraton Grand Adana Hotel on 26 October 2017.
The opening of the seminar was made by the Deputy Undersecretary Ahmet Yücel. Deputy Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Turkey, Minister Councellor Mr. Gabriel Munuera Vinals made a speech as well.
Approximately 200 representatives of the senior officials from public institutions, the Delegation of the European Union to Turkey and representatives from the Central Finance and Contracts Unit, as well as non-governmental organizations, participated to the seminar.
During the morning session of the seminar, presentations were made by the authorities of the IPA beneficiary Public Institutions on IPA I period achievements and support provided to Turkey in the light of EU accession process.
In the next session, information was provided by representatives of Public Institutions managing IPA II funds by making presentations on IPA II financing opportunities.
