An info day event of the 2014-2020 Black Sea Basin Cross Border Cooperation Programme for which Ministry for EU Affairs acts as the National Authority, was held at the Ordu, Belde Hotel on April 11, 2016. Deputy Undersecretary Mr. Ahmet Yücel and accompanying delegation attended the meeting as the representative from Ministry. Mr. Yücel and Mr. İrfan Balkanlıoğlu, Governer of Ordu , made opening speeches at the event.

 

At his speech, Deputy Undersecretary Mr. Yücel pointed out that since the Programme contributes to the strengthening of cooperation between non-governmental organizations and local authorities, Black Sea Basin Cross Border Cooperation Programme is of great importance. Furthermore, Mr. Yücel stated that ongoing collaboration process will contribute to the development of  constructive dialogue and good relationship at the Black Sea basin.

 

 

Within the framework of the event participants were informed on the new period of the Programme and the main changes in 2014-2020 term, lessons learned from the 2007-2013 period. Also   two projects that were successfully implemented under the 2007-2013 period, were presented by their coordinators. The participants were recommended to follow the websites of the Programme in order to be informed about the calls for proposals which will be launched and for other updates.
