A meeting held for presenting “TA Project for IPA II (2014-2020) Support to IPA II

Following the kick-off meeting on 4 February 2016, a meeting for presenting the project titled as “TA Project for IPA II (2014-2020) - Support to IPA II”, prepared by the Directorate of Financial Cooperation, Ministry for EU Affairs was held on 19 February 2016 at MEU premises.

The project aiming at supporting the MEU in fulfilling the National IPA Coordinator (NIPAC) roles and responsibilities during the Second Period of Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA II period) will also contribute to the IPA II-related works of other institutions.

Along with the Ministry for EU Affairs, the representatives from the Central Finance and Contracts Unit, Technical Assistance Project Implementation Team, other relevant institutions in IPA II period as well as from the European Union Delegation to Turkey participated in the meeting.  Beside the overall presentation of  the project, upcoming Training Needs Analysis ,

study, which will also involve relevant institutions, was introduced. Ms. Beyza Turan, the Director of Financial Cooperation, pointed out that the trainings to be delivered based on the identified needs will directly contribute to the programming and implementation capacities of the institution. The importance of the involvement and support from all parties for the project activities also have been highlighted at the meeting.
